How We Evaluate AI Commerce Workflows

The evidence standards, workflow boundaries, and source policy used by Solid Commerce Research.

Published by Solid Commerce

Solid Commerce Research is a company-owned resource. It supports our product explanations and comparisons with documented methods and sources. Our assessment reflects our commercial interest in Solid Commerce. Findings from another publisher retain that publisher's attribution.

Three evidence levels

Evaluate the same operational stages

For each workflow, identify its input, the source data retrieved, the AI proposal, the approval or configured authority, and the confirmed outcome. Record unsupported operations, missing data, failed updates, and operator handoffs. An accepted request and a completed channel update are distinct states.

Demonstration protocol

Use representative inventory/order exceptions, listing issues, and buyer questions. Retain environment and version information, timestamps, and sanitized input/output evidence. Show a successful path and a missing-data or rejected-action path. Repeat the operation to inspect consistency and duplicate handling. Do not change a live merchant's records to create marketing evidence.

Source and comparison policy

Product claims link to current first-party sources. The review date reflects an actual review; a new calendar year alone does not refresh it. A feature absent from public documentation is unverified, not established as unavailable. Pricing should identify the product, billing basis, included scope, and required proposal.

What these evaluations do not establish

A product demonstration does not prove an industry-wide time saving, model accuracy rate, inventory-update guarantee, or customer return on investment. Comparisons based on documentation are labeled accordingly. Paid placements are recorded separately from editorial coverage.
